Our story is one of passion, resilience, and a deep love for authentic Mexican and Spanish cuisine, rooted in family traditions. We are proud to share the culinary heritage passed down through generations, especially from Sofia, whose recipes inspire every dish we create. Each meal is a tribute to our community and its rich diversity.
Our History:
Starting As A Family’s Passion For Food.
Sofia was the Grandmother of long-time business owners Andy and Jeff Villarreal, as well as the Great-Grandmother of Kelly Villarreal. Sofias features Tacos and Margaritas embracing the family’s authentic Mexican and Spanish heritage as well as incorporating recipes that were cooked by Sofia throughout the years.
Kelly, the Great-Granddaughter of Sofia, has an autistic son and with her son she and her family recognized the need for work opportunities specifically for those individuals with disabilities. From her experience with autism along with her father's and uncle's 30 plus years in the restaurant business, the mission of Sofias is to offer incredible authentic Mexican and Spanish inspired tacos, unique and flavorful margaritas while incorporating work training programs bringing everyone in the community together.
